The optical infrastructure division of ORBNEX.
ORBNEX Optic supplies indoor fiber cabling, pre-terminated assemblies, connectivity hardware, and custom optical solutions for data center environments. It is a division of ORBNEX LLC, not a separate company.
This page describes the remit and how the work is done. It does not publish company statistics, because none has been established for publication.
Remit
A deliberately narrow scope.
Narrow scope is a design decision rather than a stage of growth. Indoor data center fiber has its own constraints, and a supplier covering everything tends to configure nothing precisely.
What ORBNEX Optic does
- Configures indoor fiber cable, assemblies, patch cords, and connectivity hardware to a project requirement
- Works from bills of materials, cable schedules, drawings, and port maps
- Specifies labeling, serialization, and packaging around a deployment plan
- Issues technical documentation against an agreed configuration
- Coordinates manufacturing with partners under that configuration
What it does not do
- Outdoor, aerial, and direct-burial constructions are outside the scope
- No production is owned or operated; manufacturing is carried out by partners
- No laboratory or inspection facility is operated, and no test result is published
- No product is sold from stock through this website
- No compliance or certification claim is published without approved evidence

How the work is done
Configuration first, documentation throughout.
A requirement, not a part number
Work starts from the deployment — the cabinets, pathway, labeling scheme, and install sequence — rather than from a catalog line. Most requirements do not match a standard part.
Agreed before built
The configuration is written down and agreed before anything is manufactured, so a build has a definition to be checked against and a discrepancy is identifiable.
Partners build to that configuration
Manufacturing is carried out by partners against the agreed configuration. That arrangement is stated plainly on every page it is relevant to, rather than obscured behind first-person language.
Published only once approved
A specification, rating, or compliance claim appears only where supporting documentation has been reviewed and approved, with its evidence and approver recorded.
Where ORBNEX Optic is today
ORBNEX Optic is developing a documented qualification and traceability framework for approved products and manufacturing partners. Product families and configurable options are published; specifications, ratings, and certifications are not, because the supporting documentation has not yet been reviewed and approved. The quality page separates what operates today from what is still being built.
